Q: help please? kia rio 2005?
im looking at a 2005 kia rio for 4900. it has 88,000 miles. is this a good idea or are they just unreliable cheap cars thank you!!

A: That sounds like a reasonable price if the car is in good shape and up to date on its maintenance. I'd have an independent mechanic give the car a through inspection to find any issues that may cost you money. Other then that, the car should last you several year with few problems, not bad for under $5K.

Q: What is the better used car out of these?
We are looking at these 3 cars... 2004 Suzuki Forenza, 2001 Hyundai Tiburon, 2005 Kia Rio. What would be the best buy for reliablity and safety? This will be a car that our 18 year old daughter would mainly be driving. I realize that these aren't the "best" cars, but they are what's listed in our area, with the lowest mileage, in our price range.

A: Kia's are VERY expensive to fix. All the parts must be ordered from over seas. I would go with the one that has the less miles on it.

A: The Kia Rio is a real dog for sure. Rellies hired one when they were here and it was not a nice car at all. The Suzuki and the Hyundai seem fine. Go for what you like of those 2. The 2004 Suzuki would be better as it's younger and probably has less miles on it.

Q: what do you guys think of my car?

A: I think it is nice. It is clean, economical, new, and -- yours. I'm happy for you and you seem very happy and appreciative about it and that is all that matters. For all the people who snubbed your car and said ugly things about it, I hope someday they are in a position to wish they had something at least half that nice.

Q: does anyone know of a good car dealership who would buy a trade in car ..oweing $10,000..?
got a car..owe $10,000 on it..had a lot of problems after warranty expired..i purchased it used last year..been using it only a year this month....its a 2005 KIA RIO CINCO HATCHBACK..wanted to trade in but the amount owed is hurting my financing..got a co signer and everything..anyone knows what i should do?i work with my car..am a courier in deep shit right now...pls i need facts,,,anyone?

A: most dealers will probably not touch this deal because the amount you owe is way more than the actualy car is worth. You are so a ss over on this car that it doesn't make any financial sense for them to do a deal for a new vehicle. The other thing is that the bank that does the financing has to have a deal that is worth it. If you are trading in negative equity (situation you are in, 10k on a car worth maybe 5k) the car you buy needs to "book" out at a value that is worth the negative amount you are rolling into the new loan plus the amount of the new car. You may find a dealer that is willing to do this deal, but be very weary of them as they may be putting you into something worse that what you have now.

Q: Need help with my car?
I have a 2005 Kia Rio. A few months ago I noticed when I turned the A/C on it would make a loud humming noise but would still put out cold air. Now, it makes the same noise but it will only put out warm air. When the heat is turned on there is no sound or problem, it's only the A/C. I know that I need to take it to a mechanic to get it fixed but I was wondering if anyone had any idea what the problem could be and how much money I would be looking at to fix it?

A: The compressor itself has finally gone bad. That was the noise you were hearing now it is completely bad and no cold air. AC stuff must be worked on at a shop.

Q: why do you have too jump a car in the winter time when nothings wrong with it. is it the frigid temperature?
its a 2005 e150 and 01 kia rio

A: Cheap battery, or old. Look into a new battery is my suggestion. Look up the term Cold Cranking AMps. What does CCA mean? Cold Cranking Amps is a rating used in the battery industry to define a battery's ability to start an engine in cold temperatures. The rating is the number of amps a new, fully charged battery can deliver at 0° Farenheit for 30 seconds, while maintaining a voltage of at least 7.2 volts, for a 12 volt battery. The higher the CCA rating, the greater the starting power of the battery.

Q: I need help in deciding what car to buy....?
I am looking to finance a car this weekend.... I have 3 main cars in mind. I want my payments to be affordable but I want a dependable car if anyone knows anything about these cars please let me know... thanks 2006 kia rio lx 23,518 miles- $9995.00 2005 nissan sentra 19,311 miles -12988.00 2007 nissan sentra 23,296 miles -15788.00

A: The 05 sentra would be a good pick, the kia is cheaper but has very low resale value, quality wise its not as good as the Nissan.
