Q: 2006.5 Kia Optima 5-speed manual any good?
I'm looking at buying a 2006.5 Kia Optima LX. It's got the 4cyl. and 5-speed manual. I really like the way it drives, but I'm concerned with the reliability, particularly with the transmission/clutch. I've heard a lot that the Hyundai Elantra 5-speed manual is a major failure defect. Is that the case with the 5-speed Optima or is it actually good? The guy is selling it for a very good price and says nothing is wrong with it and everything works. I just don't want to encounter a failed clutch or transmission prematurely because of a junky design. What do you say?
A: since it is a manual trany its really just how good the person before you it really
one day your going to have to replace the clutch that dont last forever
but if you drive it normal and not racing and all that you should be fine for years to come
but once again how did the guy you buying it from drive it
hope this helps

Q: How can I get rid of my car without harming my credit??
I have a 2006 Kia Optima that I purchased in July. I have a loan balance of $15000 and it is only worth about $9000 trade in. I am going back to school and cannot afford the monthly payments on it anymore. I want to get something that is cheaper monthly than what I have. What are my options?? PLease HELP!!
A: A couple of things you can do. You try and get a personal loan for $6,000 to pay off the balance upon trade in or have the finance company add that on to your new loan on a used car. Or you can try and sell the car for the $15,000 you owe privately.
