A: most loans will let you skip one or two payments and put it onto the back end of your loan instead so call and ask
Q: Headlights keep burning out?
I have a 2003 KIA Optima, after buying the car in 04 was not long till i had to replace one of the headlight. Was not long till i was replacing the other side. Since purchasing the car i have replaced the headlight at least 8-10 times already. I took the car to the dealership twice and they can find nothing wrong. I don't thing this to be in the wiring since a light will last for a few months before it goes out. Any suggestions on what it could be
A: If your alternator is putting out too much voltage (14.7 volts or more), or you are driving rather rough terrain on a regular basis, they will go out a lot. Go to a side shop or an electrician you know, and have them check the voltage at the battery at about 1500 rpm, if that comes out 14 to 14.5 volts, there isn't much you can do but keep replacing the bulbs.
Q: car trade in works?
I still owe $10,000 on my car I have now, It's a 2003 kia optima. Every thing keeps brakeing on it, It's a cheap car. I know the value for a trade in $4500. I just need to know how a trade in works. Do they add money to the loan you already have? Will my monthly payments go up?
A: ok i work in the car business and my family has been in it for three generations and this is a common problem with some people. If you owe 5500 dollars in negative equity then that some will be added to you new car. Do not be surprised if can not get the car you want because of this. Most of the times i see this type of situation, the buyer wants a top of the line car, and it is up to the seller to talk them into a bas or mid range model to combat the negative equity. If i were you i would stick with the kia, because chances are you will only but your self in more debt and trouble. I would recommend waiting another 6 months or a year to at least get yourself out of the negative equity on the kia. sorry bout your problem but good luck
Q: I need car help, should I buy this car?
I'm want to give my mom my '01 Jeep Cherokee because it wastes too much gas for my work (about 60miles a day) it's a V6. I found a cool used sedan or coupe for $12,000 at a dealer, I don't know too much about cars like 2.7L engine(huh?) So I was wondering if this was a good car or not. Here are the things I want to know about, if its good or not:
make and model: 2003 Kia Optima SE V6 4D Sedan
what's "SE" about it, is it the moon roof?
-2.7L Engine WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
-6 Cylinders(will this waste as much gas as my jeep?)
-2WD FRONT
-EPA Mileage 20(city)/27(highway) IS THIS BETTER THAN THE JEEP?
-181 Torque@4000rpm
-170 Horsepower@6000rpm
-Steering Column, Energy Absorbing HUH?
-Steering, Power Rack and Pinion

A: Most cars are good and reliable for the first few years, the difference between a good and bad car, are how they drive and how they hold up over time.
The kia is one of the worst cars. In as little as 6 months the car will start to show it's true colors, lots of creaks, rattles, noises etc. You pay for what you get. Stay away, go buy a honda or toyota.
Q: any good advice on a new car... kia/ honda/ toyota?
Looking for a good reliable car. We are a family of 4 with two kids in carseats. so definatly 4 doors. We plan on getting a car and keeping it for 3-4 years before trading it in. I want something reliable that I know is always going to start. power windows and locks a plus. probably a 2003 or newer. good gas mileage. I am leaning toward a toyota or honda but no clue what style. I also like the kia optima however I am not so sure I want a kia any advise? I am looking to spend about 10,000 and don't mind used as long as it is still under manufacturer warranty i know kias are till 60,000 miles or 6 years and i believe toyotas are like 100,000 . 10 years.
Had a ford explorer that was my last car and the transmission and transfer case went out I have always owned fords and have lost my faith in them thanks but no fords! also I am looking for good mpg so an suv wont really work in my price range. I think I will have to go with a car and I know the optima is mid size and I looked at toyota and they had a few cars I could get for 10000 with warranty very few though
so just looking more for models then i will check them all out. I could always finance if I wanted to go a little higher I just happen to be getting a settlement and only have 10,000 cash.
A: AVOID THE KIA....SAY NO TO KIA
Get a certified used Camry or Accord from the dealership. They have an extended warranty and an extensive inspection. Usually the warranty is extended to 100,000 miles.
Q: Used Car /High Milage?
Im about to buy me a used car ...i fell in love with a 2001 ford Taurus it has 134000 miles on it ...thats what throws me off ....... i have bad credit so i have been dealing with the same car lot for my last 4 cars but im just wondering is it too many miles ? and is ford taurus a good car ? im also looking at a dodge neon 2003 with 68000 and a2004 kia optima with 76 000 i just have my heart set on the taurus .....
i test drove all of them ....and the miles are hwy miles...there are no leaks....
A: 134K is a little too much
Try to get 60-100
Q: buying a car you want at a dealership?
in 2003 i tried to buy a 03 kia rio new, and was told by the salesman i couldn't because i made too much money and that my credit allowed me to buy a 03 kia spectra or optima instead? is this for real or was he pulling my chain? i tried to argue with him, but he said it was true what he said, so i left the dealership without him trying to keep me from leaving and buying a new car. what the hell did i miss?
A: COMMISSION-BASED SALE!!!
The better the car he sells, the better his paycheck will be.
If you made more than enough money to afford a Rio, then why wouldn't he pursue the deal? Because this would be a two-fold deal. He sells you a car that you can't afford>you can't keep up the payments>you either have to turn-in the car to them or it gets repossessed>he can then sell that same car as a used model.
Don't go to any managers, go to the General Manager or the owner of the dealership. Which in some cases is an out-of-state office building.
Q: Im going to a used car dealership tomorrow?
I need a small car, reliable, affordable, good gas mileage, safe and an automatic. Im a female and im going by myself to a used car dealership tomorrow to purchase my first used car, here are my options.
2003 mazda protege 2.0L I4 efi
2003 suzuki aereo 2.0L
2003 dodge neon 2.0
2003 ford focus 2.0
2004 kia optima 4 cylinder 2.4L
which one should i look at?
A: All things equal, I would pick the Protege.
You will want to make sure an independent mechanic inspects whichever car you intend to purchase.
